What is YOUR thing? Welcome to Collector’s Night

November 16, 2013 By Line Frederiksen

Art is usually not the kind of fun that goes for free, but SMK Nights are a welcome exception. In a number of Friday nights the National Museum of Arts open their doors to anyone who wants to hang out for a drink and a look at what art can also be.

This night the theme was “Collector’s Night” – and let us be honest here … Most of us have probably collected some weird stuff back in the boxes of the garage. This night the audience was encouraged to bring along whatever they might have collected for tonight display in the window. I sure remember those cozy coloured eggs for Easter-candy 🙂

I wonder if it still got candy inside?

But today I am probably a bit more like this guy. He is collecting old records, and although I like new music, nothing can beat the feeling of a free listening to my good old albums and the memories there are bound to stick with them.

Do not forget to visit SMK Fridays in 2014

Ooooh, those old records. What memories they might bring with them …
