Celebrate DIY

August 19, 2014 By Line Frederiksen

5-4-3-2-1. We are counting down the days to one of the greatest Maker-experinces this year. And for once I am not letting anything out for free here – there is a tickets to be paid. But do not forget that the festival only shows the top of the iceberg, built on several months of free fun.

Remember the clever and cool Friday’s Bar? Or how about a little trade for knowledge?

So, if you do have extra money to invest, I suggest you invest them in your own creativity and eagerness to learn and experience new techniques next week. The Made Festival hits Roskilde!

The festival takes places at Musicon, August 25th-30th and celebrates DIY (Do It Yourself) within different kinds of art, technology and craft.

The festival is divided into 2 parts; Made Camps and Made Celebration.

The first four days of Made Camps is for those of you who want to build up a project completely from scratch to take home. You can learn new technologies and crafts and top up your own knowledge.

The two last days of Made Celebration is for those of you want to experience art, crazy workshops, speeches and concerts – and you can even get cool gadget and tech-souvenirs home with you.

The whole festival is nonprofit and organized by the team of Roskilde Festival. They promise that Made Festival will let you experience ANYTHING IN NO TIME :)
